Migrating Malwarebytes Endpoints

Windows

To migrate windows agents, follow these steps:

  1. Open PowerShell as Administrator
    1. Search for PowerShell in the Start menu.
    2. Right-click and select Run as Administrator.
  2. Run the following commands:
    1. cd C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Endpoint Agent\UserAgent
    2. EACmd.exe --changeaccounttoken=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Note*: Please replace the "xxxxx" with individual account token provided.

Mac

To migrate Mac agents:

  1. Open terminal.
  2. Run the following commands:
    1. sudo '/Library/Application Support/Malwarebytes/Malwarebytes Endpoint Agent/EndpointAgentDaemon.app/Contents/MacOS/EndpointAgentDaemon' AccountToken=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx
    2. sudo launchctl stop com.malwarebytes.agent.daemon
    3. sudo launchctl start com.malwarebytes.agent.daemon
